What is a calorie and why is everyone so obsessed with it?
Nowadays, every food packaging, every label has nutrition facts with calorie information, broken down to calories from fat, carbs and protein. Calorie is a unit of energy. A small calorie or gram calorie, referred to as “cal” is the approximate amount of energy needed to raise the temperature of one gram of water by one degree Celsius.
I personally think it is very helpful to know how many calories I need per day, so that I am aware of how much I can eat and in other cases, what I really don’t need to eat.

I have tried a few different websites today, and this one I liked the best. As an example of how it’s supposed to look like i used my own information, so yes, that’s me!
I am currently doing Cross Fit 4 times a week and keeping my calorie intake around 1200-1450 cal. per day. As a result: losing fat, gaining muscle, feeling great!
